Icelandic Fish

Lemon Caper Plaice

Serves 2

What You Need

2 x 170 gram portions of GO WILD Icelandic Plaice

10 mL Olive Oil

50 grams small Capers

5 grams pureed Roasted Garlic

100 grams Butter

7 grams Salt and Pepper

50 mL fresh Lemon Juice

5 grams chopped Parsley

Preparation

  1. Place the oil in the pan on medium.
  2. Season the plaice with the salt and pepper.
  3. Place the fish in the pan and cook for 3 minutes and then flip over and cook for another 3 minutes.
  4. Remove fish from pan and place onto warm plate.
  5. Add butter, lemon juice, garlic and capers to the pan and cook on medium until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add chopped parsley, remove from heat.
  7. Pour sauce over fish and serve with wild mushroom risotto and pan roasted asparagus.
