BASA SERVING SUGGESTIONS
With its firm yet light texture, and mild fish flavour, Basa fish is easy to prepare and a great protein to add to any recipe.
PAN-FRIED BASA
Try Green Ocean Basa fillets pan-fried with a bit of butter or canola oil. Add some simple lemon pepper or a Blackened or Cajun seasoning for a zestier taste. Cook fillets on medium-high for approximately 10 minutes, turning once.
TREMENDOUS THAI BASA
Basa is often used in many Thai dishes due to its mild flavour and moist, flaky texture. For a delicious seafood dinner, try Green Ocean Basa fillets in your favourite Thai curry marinade and serve on a bed of Jasmine rice.
BASA ON THE GRILL
Basa can even be grilled if handled carefully. Season Green Ocean Basa fillets with oregano, lemon, garlic, and a pinch of sea salt. Grill on a hot, well-oiled grill at medium-high heat for approximately 10 minutes. You can cook without turning the fillet. Serve with roasted potatoes and some fresh asparagus or corn on the cob.
